Volunteer!
What You Will Do:
As you move through the hub, you’ll see how this work strengthens New Jersey’s small and mid‑sized farmers and ensures food reaches the people who need it most. You will work alongside staff and apprentices to help:
Receive, sort, and pack New Jersey‑grown produce
Assemble Farm‑to‑Family Boxes
Support value‑added production like soups and sauces
See how food moves through the hub from arrival to distribution
Bring Your Group to Volunteer at Harvest
A Group Volunteer Day gives your workplace team, school group, congregation, leadership cohort, or community organization a chance to roll up your sleeves together and play a real part in getting fresh, local food to families. It’s energizing, meaningful, and gives your team a shared sense of purpose and connection.
Individual Volunteering
Deepening Your Impact
Many groups ask how they can do more. While there is never any expectation, contributions from volunteer groups help sustain the flow of fresh, local food through Harvest and strengthen New Jersey’s small and mid‑sized farmers. Group gifts are warmly welcomed and truly help this work grow.
